Danish Apple Struedel - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk
2/3 c. milk
8 to 10 peeled, thin sliced apples
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix flour, shortening and salt together.
Put yolk in cup and add milk to make 2/3 cup.
Roll out 1/2 of dough.
Use round, deep pizza pan.
