Polish Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    5 eggs
    2 sticks butter
    1 c. oil
    2 tsp. almond extract
    1 small can milk (to make 1 c.)
    1 tsp. salt
    2 bottles cherries, drained
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix first 8 ingredients.
    Beat after each addition until well blended.
    Add last 2 ingredients.
    Grease and flour Bundt pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 1/4 hours.
    (Start with a cold oven.) Freezes well.
