Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg and 1 egg white
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    In saucepan, combine milk and butter; cut into pieces.
    Heat until just lukewarm.
    In mixing bowl, combine 1 egg and egg white, salt, sugar and 1/2 cup flour. Add remaining flour.
    Beat into a stiff batter for 2 minutes at high speed if using mixer.
    Spread into a greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Sprinkle topping over the dough; cover.
    Let rise in a warm place until almost doubled, about 1 hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Cool on a rack.
    Cut into squares.
