Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. peeled and sliced onions
    2 oz. butter
    1 tsp. turbino sugar
    2 tsp. flour
    2 to 3 pt. beef stock
Preparation
    Melt the butter.
    Add the onions and cook for 20 to 30 minutes over a low heat, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in the sugar and flour.
    Cook another minute or two.
    Add the stock gradually, season to taste and simmer for 15 minutes.
