Pecan Delights - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 1/2 lb. whole pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. (6 oz.) milk chocolate chips
    1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, combine the first four ingredients.
    Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Gradually add milk and mix well.
    Continue cooking until candy thermometer reads 248\u00b0 (firm ball stage).
    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla until blended.
    Fold in pecans.
    Drop by tablespoons onto a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam.
    Chill until firm.
    Melt chocolate chips and shortening in microwave.
    Drizzle over each cluster. Cool.
