Ham And Cheese Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 large bakery buns (hamburger type)
    2 sticks oleo
    2 Tbsp. poppy seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    1/2 c. minced onions
    2 lb. ham
    2 lb. Wisconsin American cheese
    1 (5 to 7 lb.) lightly smoked, fully cooked ham
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. hot style mustard
    fine dry bread crumbs
    mustard whip
Preparation
    Trim fat and skin from ham.
    Place ham on rack in shallow roasting pan.
    Beat the egg until thick (about 5 minutes).
    Fold in the mustard; brush over the ham.
    Sprinkle with some pepper and 1/4 to 1/3 cup bread crumbs to coat.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 hours (meat thermometer should read 140\u00b0).
    Prepare Mustard Whip.
    Serve with sliced ham.
    Makes 16 to 24 servings.
