Yellow Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. egg yolks (scant)
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. sugar, sifted
    1 1/2 c. cake flour, sifted 4 times
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks and hot water and salt until stiff with an electric beater.
    Beat egg white pouring water so they won't cook. Add sugar slowly and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract.
    Add flour slowly.
    Continue beating; add baking powder last.
    Bake as an angel food.
    Slow for 1 hour.
    Don't make the pan over half full or it will run over.
