Joy'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    dash of salt
    6 eggs
    vanilla to taste
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, alternating with flour (salt added) to butter mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Use icing of your choice.
