Scotchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a saucepan over low heat.
    Blend in brown sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Stir in vanilla and flour.
    Mix thoroughly; stir in nuts.
    Pour into a greased and floured 10 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
