Apple-Less Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 c. water
    25 Ritz crackers, broken in half
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    sprinkle of cinnamon
    butter
    2 (8-inch) pie crusts
Preparation
    Boil sugar, cream of tartar and water for 1 minute.
    Add Ritz crackers and boil for 2 minutes.
    Take off stove and add lemon juice.
    Pour in pie crust; sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter.
    Cover with second crust.
    Don't perforate or split top crust.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until crust is nicely brown, about 25 minutes.
    Good warm.
