Ham And Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. navy beans
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 small piece ham, chopped
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Put navy beans, salt and pepper, onion, celery and ham in slow cooker.
    Cover with water, just a little above all the ingredients. Can start the night before and let it cook all night on high.
    In morning, turn cooker to low and add potatoes and until you need or want it for supper, it will be done.
    (You can double or triple this recipe if you want to make a big pot of soup.)
    This will have to be made in a large crock-pot.
    Don't forget to stir occasionally.
