Herbed Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. Good Seasons dry herb mix
4 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 sticks oleo or butter, melted
1 Tbsp. fresh basil, chopped
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients; add eggs, buttermilk and melted butter. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Yields 2 loaves.
Good served with basil butter.
