Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    12 oz. bag caramels
    12 oz. can evaporated milk
    1 stick margarine
    1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix cake mix with the melted margarine and almost half of the can of milk. Spread half of the batter in greased pan.
    Bake 15 minutes.
