Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. roasted salted peanuts
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Stir together sugar and corn syrup in a 1 1/2-quart dish. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts.
    Microwave on High for 5 minutes.
    Add margarine and vanilla.
    Blend well. Microwave on High for 2 minutes.
    Add baking soda and gently stir until foamy.
    Pour onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Cool. Break into pieces and store in airtight container.
