Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten egg yolks and bananas.
    Blend together flour, soda and salt.
    Add this slowly to banana mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake in 2 greased (8x4x3) loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
    Do not over bake.
