Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    3 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 lb. dates
    1 lb. pineapple
    1 c. bourbon
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 lb. pecans
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. white raisins
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Add egg yolks, sugar, butter, soda and buttermilk; set aside. Pour bourbon over raisins and let stand about 15 minutes.
    Beat egg whites and set aside.
    Add pecans, dates, cherries, pineapple, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and flour.
    Mix with the egg yolk mixture and the bourbon and raisins.
    Fold in the whites last.
