Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. coarsely chopped cooking apples
    1 c. chopped black walnuts
    juice of 1 lemon
    3 eggs, well beaten
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. xxx sugar
Preparation
    Combine oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, baking soda and salt.
    Beat well.
    Add apples and nuts.
    Blend.
    The mixture will be very thick.
    Turn into greased 9-inch tube pan.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until done when tested.
    Blend lemon juice with xxx sugar until smooth.
    Spread over warm cake.
