Pear Under The Sea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. pear halves, drained (reserve 3/4 c. syrup)
    3 oz. Jell-O (lime flavor)
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    6 oz. cream cheese
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Dice pears; set aside.
    Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
    Add reserved syrup and lemon juice.
    Pour 1 1/4 cups into an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
    Chill until set, but not firm, about 1 hour.
