24 Hour Tossed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c. onion, diced
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 c. green pepper, diced
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 c. bacon (8 slices), crumbled
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    6 oz. grated cheese
Preparation
    Break lettuce into bite size pieces; then layer lettuce with rest of veggies, except peas, in large bowl.
    Then spread all the peas.
    Next spread mayonnaise over top and sprinkle sugar over all. Sprinkle bacon chips and grated cheese over all.
    Cover tight and let sit overnight.
    Toss well before serving.
