Old Dominion Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 c. fruit (sugar as needed)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 9-inch casserole.
    In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder; add milk and stir well.
    Pour this mixture into casserole.
    Top with fruit.
    Do not stir.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
