Breakfast Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 slices white bread
1 lb. mild sausage
1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. milk
1 c. half and half
4 to 6 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
salt to taste
Preparation

Place the bread, buttered on both sides, in a 9 x 13-inch casserole.
Brown sausage, drain and spread over the bread and top with cheese.
Repeat layers if desired.
Beat eggs, cream and milk. Add salt and dry mixture to egg.
Pour over bread, sausage and cheese mixture.
Cover with foil; chill overnight.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
