Stuffed Cabbage Leaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. cooked rice
    1 egg
    1 small can sauerkraut
    1 small can tomato juice
    1 small onion, chopped fine
Preparation
    Core cabbage and parboil 20 minutes in a covered kettle.
    Set aside to cool.
    Combine ground beef, rice, egg and onion.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Separate cabbage leaves.
    Stuff meat mixture in cabbage leaf and roll up.
    Spread sauerkraut on bottom of Dutch oven, then place layers of cabbage rolls on sauerkraut. Pour tomato juice over all.
    Cover and cook 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
