Bavarian Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans cut green beans, drained
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. sugar
    1 small onion, chopped
    5 strips bacon, fried and crumbled, reserve the drippings
Preparation
    Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan, including the bacon drippings.
    Cook on medium for 20 minutes.
    Serve hot.
