Stuffed Cabbage Head - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage head
1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey
1 small chopped onion
2 Tbsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce or 2 (8 oz.) cans V-8 juice
Preparation

Trim off outside of cabbage.
Cook in boiling water 45 minutes, or until almost tender.
Remove cabbage from water and drain.
Reserve 1/4 cup cabbage water.
Core cabbage, making a cavity through cabbage.
Blend meat, onion and garlic powder; add 2 tablespoons tomato sauce.
Stuff mixture into cabbage.
Place in deep pot.
Pour remaining tomato sauce over cabbage.
Cover; cook about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Remove from heat and serve with sauce. Yields 4 servings.
