Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. persimmon pulp (add 1/2 tsp. soda)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add all other ingredients.
    Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
