Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. ground beef or sausage meat
    6 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
    1 can cream of tomato soup
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add ground beef; don't brown.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Spread 3 cups cabbage in baking dish. Cover with meat mixture.
    Top with remaining cabbage; pour soup over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
