Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sweet milk
    1 c. Crisco
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 qt. self-rising flour
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Put sweet milk, sugar and Crisco in boiler.
    Place over heat and let it come to a good boil.
    Remove from heat; let cool until it is just barely warm.
    Add 1 quart of the flour and beat with electric mixer until smooth.
    Add yeast, that has been dissolved in a small amount of warm water.
    Set aside until double in bulk, then add the other quart of flour.
    Put in refrigerator.
    Keep dough pushed down until chilled.
