Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. white or apple cider vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salt
    2 tsp. celery salt
    2 tsp. ground turmeric
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    5 lb. squash (unpeeled), cut in 1/4 inch slices
    1 qt. onions, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, sugar, salt, celery salt, turmeric and dry mustard in saucepan, bring to a boil and pour over zucchini and onions.
    Let
    stand
    one
    hour,
    stirring occasionally. Pack in hot sterilized jars and seal.
    Oh, so good.
