Creamy Potato Soup(Serves 4 To 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1 c. onion, chopped
    4 c. potatoes, cubed
    2 c. water
    4 to 5 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk or evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. parsley, snipped
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp; set aside.
    Saute onion.
    Cook potatoes in water until tender.
    Do not drain water.
    Stir in salt and milk.
    (I add leftover mashed potatoes if I have any, about 1/2 cup.)
    Puree.
    Heat, but do not boil.
    Garnish with crumpled bacon and parsley.
