Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1 (15.5 oz.) can red kidney beans with juice
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    chili powder to taste (optional)
    2 c. cooked white rice
Preparation
    Brown beef and onions.
    Add tomato soup, beans, water, celery and peppers.
    Add chili powder if desired.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for about 1/2 hour or until celery is tender.
    Serve over cooked rice. Serves 4.
