Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans
3 to 4 Tbsp. water (cold)
3 eggs
1 c. corn syrup
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. margarine
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
2 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Pastry:
Combine 1 1/4 cups flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt; cut in shortening.
Stir in fine pecans.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon water. Toss with fork; add water until all is moistened.
Dough forms ball.
Roll out and put in 9-inch pie plate.
