White Christmas Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. moist coconut
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in cold water.
    Mix in saucepan the 1/2 cup sugar, salt, flour and milk.
    Cook over low heat, stirring mixture until it boils.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in dissolved gelatin.
    Cool.
    When mixture is partially set, beat with beater until smooth.
    Blend in vanilla and almond extract.
    Whip cream until stiff.
    Beat until fluffy the egg whites.
    Add cream of tartar and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Beat until stiff and glossy.
    Fold into custard.
    Fold in coconut.
    Put in baked pie shell.
    Sprinkle coconut on top.
    Chill until set.
