Fruit Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 c. dates
    1/2 c. candied fruit or peels
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar.
    Add eggs and sour cream; sift dry ingredients together.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Mix in nuts, dates and candied fruit.
    Fill cupcakes 1/2 full.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
