Rocky Road Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large angel cake, broken in pieces
    12 oz. milk chocolate
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs, separated
    1 pt. whipping cream, whipped
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Put cake in large mixing bowl; melt chocolate.
    Beat egg yolks and blend in chocolate.
    Beat egg whites quite stiff; add sugar and vanilla.
    Fold in whipped cream; add nuts.
    Fold in chocolate mixture well.
    Pour over cake crumbs.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch dripper.
    Chill at least 2 days before.
    Put whipped cream on top with tiny cherry bits, if desired.
