Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour water over oats; stir and let sit.
    In separate bowl cream shortening, sugars, and eggs, all four spices and baking soda.
    Add oatmeal.
    Pour into 13 x 9 pan.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
