Jean Ferguson Fulghum Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. shrimp, cooked and cut or diced
    3 green onions (all of scallions)
Preparation
    Melt butter and cheese in double boiler.
    Whip with hand beater to get rid of lumps.
    Add shrimp and onions.
    Let stand overnight. Reheat in double boiler and then put into chafing dish.
    One recipe serves about 10.
    Serve on Melba rounds.
