Sausage And Pepper Hero - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 fennel sausage links (2 lb.)
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 green bell peppers, cut into 1 1/2 inch sq.
1 (14 oz.) can Italian peeled tomatoes, drained and chopped
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
6 long Italian rolls
Preparation

Cut fennel sausages into 3 pieces each.
In a large non-reactive large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.
Add sausages and cook, turning every 10 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
Spoon off fat from pan.
Add onion and peppers. Cook, stirring every 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, water, salt and pepper.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in parsley.
Spoon sausages with peppers and sauce onto split rolls.
Serves 6.
