*Deviled Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 lb. top round steak (1-inch thick)
    salt and pepper to taste
    cooking oil
    1 c. sliced onion
    1 carrot, diced
    1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix mustard and flour.
    Pound into the steak.
    It takes punishment and rewards you with tenderness!
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Brown on both sides in a little cooking oil.
    Place in a small roaster.
    Pour over it the remaining ingredients, which have been mixed together.
    Cover and bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
    Serves 6.
