French Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    water
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/3 c. oil or melted shortening
    2 Tbsp. yeast
    6 to 7 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve 2 tablespoons of yeast in 1/2 cup very warm water (not hot).
    Set aside.
