Lemon Crackers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 pt. sweet milk
    1 oz. baking ammonia
    1 bottle lemon extract
Preparation
    Beat sugar and shortening together.
    Add well beaten eggs. Dissolve ammonia in warm milk.
    Add lemon and stir in enough flour to make very stiff.
    Knead well; roll thin and cut as desired. Bake about 10 to 12 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
