Glorified Macaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. acini de pepe #44 macaroni
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 can crushed pineapple
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Refrigerate oranges, pineapple and Cool Whip.
    Cook pasta and refrigerate overnight.
    Drain juices from fruit and add 2 1/2 tablespoons flour and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Cook until thick. Refrigerate overnight.
    Mix all ingredients with Cool Whip.
    Add maraschino cherries (cut up) for color.
