Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Carolina rice
    7 c. whole milk (reserve 1 c.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    4 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil rice, 6 cups milk, salt and butter together for approximately 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
    In blender, place egg yolks, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup milk.
    Add this blended mixture to cooked rice mixture and return to a full, rolling boil. Place in dish and add vanilla.
    Fold in meringue from egg whites. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
