Microwave Oriental Beef And Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. tender beef, thinly sliced
    1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 c. thinly sliced celery
    1 c. thinly sliced onion
    1 green pepper, thinly sliced
    4 small tomatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    In a deep quart microwave casserole dish, place beef.
    Heat on full power 5 minutes or until meat is no longer red.
    Drain excess liquid.
    Add garlic, soy sauce, ginger, celery, onion, green pepper and tomatoes.
    Heat on full power 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    In
    a small custard cup, combine cornstarch and water to make a smooth paste.
    Add cornstarch mixture to liquid in casserole.
    Heat on full power 2 minutes until mixture is thickened and smooth.
    Serves 4.
