Applesauce-Ginger Ale Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. gelatin (strawberry, grape or lime)
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    2 1/4 c. applesauce, drained
    1 1/2 c. ginger ale (may use 7-Up or lemon lime soda)
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
    Stir in applesauce.
    Slowly pour ginger ale down the side of the bowl.
    Mix well and pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan or mold.
    Chill overnight to congeal.
    Serves 24.
