Candied Sweets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Parboil potatoes 15 minutes.
    Peel and cut in half lengthwise. Place in buttered baking dish.
    Combine sugar, salt, butter and water.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Pour syrup over potatoes.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, basting occasionally.
    Makes 6 servings.
