Cooked Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. sour milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    flour to make a stiff dough
Preparation
    Roll out; cut into squares.
    Into each square, put one small, quartered apple.
    Pinch dough all around it tight.
    Drop into boiling water.
    Let boil 1/2 hour.
    Take out and serve hot, with sugar and cream.
    Cook in heavy pot.
