Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, in pieces
    1 c. celery
    4 hard-cooked eggs
    1 box frozen peas (uncooked)
    1/2 c. grated carrots and peppers
    1 medium onion, chopped
    8 slices bacon, fried and broken
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 oz. grated cheese
Preparation
    Layer ingredients in order.
    Cover; refrigerate 4 to 8 hours. Garnish with tomatoes.
