Layered Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 chocolate wafers
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    3/4 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Crumble chocolate wafers in blender.
    Mix with 1/4 cup butter and pat into pie pan.
    Bake 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Melt 1/4 cup butter in saucepan.
    Stir in lemon juice, sugar and salt. Stir to dissolve.
    Pour half of lemon mixture into eggs.
    Return eggs to rest of lemon mixture and cook over medium heat until thick.
    Cool.
    Place half of ice cream in cookie crust.
    Freeze. Place half of lemon mixture in crust.
    Freeze.
    Repeat layers. Freeze.
    Garnish with cookie crumbs or chocolate curls.
    Let stand 10 minutes at room temperature before serving.
