Ingredients

24 Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 c. oleo, melted
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
1 (4 oz.) bar German chocolate
1/2 c. oleo
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. Pet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
8 oz. carton Cool Whip
Preparation

Sprinkle crushed cookies into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
Pour 1/2 cup oleo over crumbs and freeze.
Combine remaining ingredients except for ice cream and boil for 4 minutes.
Cool and pour over ice cream.
Top with Cool Whip.
Sprinkle with nuts and freeze. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
