Pecan Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    dash of salt
    2 c. pecan halves
    3/4 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add 3/4 cup sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Dip pecan halves into mixture and place on greased cookie sheet.
    Cook for 30 minutes at 250\u00b0.
    Turn oven off and leave in 30 minutes longer.
